Kinea Private Equity is the private equity arm of Kinea Investimentos, a Brazilian investment manager formed in partnership with Banco Itaú. With over R$151.7 billion in assets under management and a team of more than 200 professionals, the firm invests across multiple asset classes including private equity and venture capital. It focuses on growth-stage and buyout opportunities in Brazil and Latin America, and has recently begun exploring venture capital investments with smaller check sizes. Notable team member Philippe Schlumpf was moved to lead the venture capital initiative.
