Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how mAI Depot, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Selva at selva.vc (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers (for example, via Google sign-in). Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Payment information. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive only limited information such as subscription status and the last digits or card brand, not your full card number. Submissions. Content you provide, such as data corrections, edit requests, and pitch materials, including any personal or business information contained in them. Usage and device data. We and our analytics providers automatically collect information such as pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, browser and device type, and timestamps, using cookies and similar technologies. Business contact data. The Service catalogs publicly available information about companies, investors, and their representatives, which may include names, roles, and professional contact details. Exact contact details are restricted to authorized administrators and are not shown to general users.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to: provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; authenticate users and manage subscriptions and billing; personalize content and language; measure and analyze usage; respond to inquiries and Submissions; detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences (such as theme and language), and analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Firebase to understand how the Service is used. These providers may set their own cookies and process usage data as described in their privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: (a) with service providers that help us operate the Service, including Google (Firebase, Analytics), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (delivery and security), under contractual confidentiality obligations; (b) to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service; and (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will seek to ensure the recipient honors this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account information as described below; some information may be retained where required by law or for fraud prevention.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights (including California)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents may request to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email privacy@maidepot.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and we will verify requests as required.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Because there is no common industry standard, our response to such signals may be limited; where required by law we treat recognized opt-out preference signals as valid opt-out requests.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws.

11. Requests to Remove Business Listings

If you are a representative of a company or fund and wish to correct or request removal of information about your organization, email privacy@maidepot.com and we will review the request.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when we post the updated Policy and revise the “Last updated” date.

13. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@maidepot.com or mAI Depot, Inc., Attn: Privacy.
