Marcelo Claure is a Bolivian-American entrepreneur and investor who serves as Co-Chair of Brightstar Capital Partners and founder of the Claure Group family office. He also operates the venture capital firm Bicycle and is a partner at private equity firm eB Capital. His investments focus on Latin American startups, particularly fintech, and he has backed companies like PicPay. He recently acquired the SoftBank Opportunity Fund dedicated to black and latino founders.
