Urca Angels is a Brazilian angel investor network founded in 2019, primarily composed of alumni from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia (IME). The group invests in early-stage startups at pre-seed and seed stages, with ticket sizes ranging from R$300,000 to R$3 million per investment and individual angel contributions of R$10,000 to R$100,000. Their focus sectors include fintech, e-commerce, energy, agtech, and other scalable technology ventures. With over 150 members, Urca Angels provides hands-on support including M&A assistance and introductions to partners and customers.
