2TM is a Brazilian holding company that controls Mercado Bitcoin, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in Latin America. It provides a platform for trading, investing, and managing digital assets, serving both individual retail customers and business clients (B2B). The company operates primarily in Brazil and has been expanding internationally, including through acquisitions such as the fintech Wuzu. After raising US$200 million from SoftBank in mid-2021, 2TM reached a valuation of US$2.1 billion, and later secured an additional US$50 million in a Series B extension round.
