Agrorobótica provides an AI-powered platform called AGLIBS that enables Brazilian farmers to monetize carbon credits while improving agricultural productivity. The platform uses Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) technology, originally developed by NASA for Martian soil analysis, to rapidly and accurately analyze soil samples for carbon content, texture, pH, and macro/micronutrients without generating waste. By quantifying soil carbon sequestration, the company helps farmers generate carbon credits with an estimated potential of 1.5 tCO2eq/ha/year and monetization of US$45/ha/year at a projected carbon price of US$30/t.
