Canopy is a Brazilian company that acquires, develops, and perpetuates technology businesses serving corporate clients, operating under a consolidation model. It targets software companies with recurring revenue and strong market positions, integrating them into its portfolio while preserving their operational autonomy. The company recently entered the agribusiness sector by acquiring Maxicon Sistemas, a provider of software for grain chain management and logistics, which processes over R$ 120 billion in transactions. Canopy raised US$ 100 million in a funding round in July and has mapped over 300 acquisition opportunities in the software space.
