Chamba

HondurasHRtechFounded 2019

Chamba is a Honduran HRtech startup that connects the workforce, particularly with small businesses, by providing tools and opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. The organization operates as a citizen platform that promotes job creation, education, and fiscal responsibility through initiatives like the Chamba Index, Chamba Talks, and the Chambómetro electoral metric. While the evidence highlights its strong presence in Honduras with a focus on local impact, related entities such as MiChamba (a Mexican counterpart specializing in WhatsApp-based business management) have raised pre-seed funding to expand into the US, suggesting a broader LATAM operational context. The company differentiates itself by combining direct job matching with socio-economic research and civic engagement programs.
