Checkars is an online marketplace for buying and selling used cars, operating primarily in Argentina. The platform connects individual sellers and dealerships with buyers, offering vehicle inspection and financing services to facilitate transactions. Founded in 2018, Checkars had completed over 1,500 transactions before being acquired by Mexican car marketplace Kavak in 2021. The startup raised US$1.3 million in seed funding led by Jaguar Ventures.
