Founded by Colombians Alejandro Pinzón and Simón Pinilla, the company is based in the US but operates in Latin America, including Mexico. DRUO recently raised an undisclosed seed round led by Global PayTech Ventures (GPT), a fund chaired by the former President of Mastercard, to scale its direct-debit payments network and expand into Europe and the European Union.
