Easy Taxi is a taxi-hailing app that connects passengers with nearby taxi drivers, solving the problem of finding and booking taxis efficiently. The app allows users to request a ride via their smartphone, track the driver in real-time, and pay digitally. Founded in Brazil in 2011 by Tallis Gomes, the service expanded to 172 cities worldwide and transported 15 million people. It raised significant venture capital, including a US$40M Series D round led by Phenomen Ventures, and operated in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.
