FAZ Cred
Brazilfintech
FAZ Cred is a Brazilian fintech that provides payroll-linked loans (crédito consignado) to private-sector workers (CLTs), solving the problem of high-interest credit and bureaucratic approval processes. The company offers loans up to R$20,000 with disbursement via PIX in as little as 8 minutes, requiring no bank account opening and with payments deducted directly from the borrower's salary. Its target customers are formal workers in Brazil, including those with negative credit histories, who can access lower interest rates (from 2.59% per month) and terms up to 48 months. FAZ Cred raised US$16 million in 60 days through a new credit rights investment fund (FIDC) called FAZ Cred Mais Trabalhador, demonstrating strong investor confidence and rapid scaling after rebranding from its original name Condolivre.
