Jompeame is an online crowdfunding platform based in the Dominican Republic that aims to reduce poverty by facilitating donations for social causes, particularly those addressing emergency needs and extreme poverty. Since its inception in October 2015, Jompeame has raised over RD$20,000,000 for more than 300 causes, supported by over 11,000 donors and impacting more than 6,000 beneficiaries. The company operates primarily in the Dominican Republic with plans for global expansion and has received recognition including being named one of Forbes' 30 Business Promises and a finalist in the TechCrunch Disrupt Final.
