Kingo is a technology startup providing affordable clean energy and connectivity solutions to off-the-grid communities. It designs and operates high-uptime systems using internet-of-things (IoT) technology to deliver last-mile energy and internet services where traditional wired infrastructure is too costly or difficult to deploy. Its customers are people and small businesses in off-the-grid communities, mostly subsistence-level farmers, in Guatemala and Colombia. It addresses lack of access to energy and connectivity as barriers to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity.
