Levita Magnetics is a medical device company developing a magnetic robotic surgery platform. The company was founded by surgeon Dr. Alberto Rodriguez-Navarro and co-founded by businessman Nicolas Luksic. Its technology uses magnets to enable less invasive surgical procedures, and it has also developed the MARS platform for AI-guided autonomous surgery. The company raised a USD 26 million Series C round led by a healthtech investment group managed by Evan Norton, with participation from MedTex Ventures and follow-on from Invermaster and Carao Ventures. Earlier, Invermaster Ventures co-led a USD 1 million investment, and the company also raised USD 600,000 through Founderlist. While originally described as Chile-based, its official site describes it as Silicon Valley-based.
