MEDU (also known as MEDU Protection) is a Mexican healthtech startup that develops sustainable medical apparel to reduce the environmental impact of the healthcare industry. The company's products are designed to generate up to 25 kg less waste per garment compared to traditional alternatives, addressing an industry that produces up to 5 million tons of waste annually. MEDU raised a US$4 million seed round led by MaC Venture Capital with participation from Halcyon Fund to continue developing its sustainable medical garments.
