Multibank is a Panamanian bank with over 50 years of history, operating as part of Multi Financial Group (MFG). It provides traditional banking and financial services to individuals and businesses in Panama. The bank was acquired by Grupo Aval (parent of BAC) in a deal valued at around $433 million, and subsequently merged with BAC to operate under the BAC brand. Its main differentiation is its long-standing presence in the Panamanian market.
