Muncher is a Colombian foodtech company that operates a chain of dark kitchens (ghost kitchens) using repurposed shipping containers for food preparation and distribution. The company partners with restaurants to improve margins, increase sales, and scale their businesses by providing technology and kitchen infrastructure. Muncher also runs its own in-house restaurant brands, including Franco, Nimis, Chiki Chiki, and Good Hands. It has raised a $27 million Series B led by Glisco Partners, with participation from FEMSA Ventures and TMT Investments, following a $22 million Series A in May 2021. The company is based in Colombia and is expanding its regional operations.
