Pitzi is a Brazilian insurtech that provides mobile phone insurance, protecting devices against theft, robbery, cracked screens, and other unforeseen events. Customers can activate their protection through an online account, filing claims by describing the issue and providing their order number. The company serves individual consumers in Brazil who purchase its protection plans, often through partner channels. Pitzi has raised significant funding, including a R$60 million (US$14.3 million) round led by QED Investors and WTI, and later achieved a valuation of US$100 million after an undisclosed investment round also led by QED Investors with participation from Thrive Capital and Valiant Partners.
