Pluggy provides an API infrastructure that enables developers to read bank data and move money within Brazil's financial system, serving as a bridge for open finance. The company is an authorized payment initiator by the Central Bank of Brazil and offers a single API to connect any software to Brazilian banks. Its customers are developers and fintechs building on top of open banking, primarily in Brazil. Pluggy raised approximately R$10 million in a seed round and was accelerated by Y Combinator and the Lift Lab of the Central Bank.
