Puntaje Nacional

ChileEdtechFounded 2014

Puntaje Nacional is a Chilean edtech platform founded in 2009 with the stated mission of reducing the educational gap by helping students prepare for Chile's PAES university admission test. The platform provides free full-length practice exams (ensayos) that simulate the real PAES in timing and difficulty, an adaptive study plan that adjusts to each student's progress, live classes with teachers, and updated 2026 study material covering high-frequency exam topics. Its offerings include printed and digital manuals, over 500 modeled exercises, unit-by-unit explanatory videos, final practice tests with immediate review, and a TestTAC strategic training component, combining paper, app and AI in what it describes as a condensed pre-university system. Its customers are Chilean secondary students preparing for the PAES, along with teachers and schools that use the platform to prepare their students. The company states that over 16 years it has supported more than 1.7 million students in Chile, and it also operates an online store for its manuals and materials.
