RedCapital is a Chilean fintech that operates a crowdfunding platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), addressing the challenge of access to credit. The platform connects SMEs seeking financing with individual and institutional investors, enabling businesses to raise funds through debt or equity crowdfunding. As of 2021, RedCapital had financed over 1,000 SMEs and projected reaching 5,000 by end of 2022, with plans to expand into Mexico and Brazil. The company has raised venture rounds of US$3 million and US$2 million, and was preparing a round of over US$20 million to enter the Mexican market.
