Sprout (also known as Sproutfi) is a fintech platform that enables users in Brazil and Mexico to invest in US financial markets. The app allows users to start investing with as little as $1, providing access to US stocks and ETFs. It recently acquired the Brazilian client portfolio of Passfolio, adding 200,000 accounts and $100 million in assets under custody. The company raised a $5.7 million seed round to expand its services.
