Unblock Computing (also operating as Unblock Energy) converts wasted energy from flared and stranded natural gas into computing power. The company deploys mobile data centers directly at oil and gas production sites to capture otherwise wasted energy and use it for high-performance computing, such as cryptocurrency mining or AI workloads. Its customers are primarily energy producers in Latin America, with a focus on Argentina. In July 2025, Unblock raised $13.5 million in a seed round led by Goldcrest and Collaborative Fund to scale its operations across the region.
